This time I made a simple, yet super delicious & beautiful dessert. Even I was surprised how yummy it was. I believe this would be a perfect addition to your Thanksgiving Dinner.
PEAR MILLE FEUILLE
Pear Mille Feuille with Caramelized Maple Syrup & Roasted Pecans
Vegan β Gluten Free β Refined Sugar Free

INGREDIENTS
β’ Pear 1 ( use Bartlett)
β’ Maple Syrup 1/4 cup
β’ Lemon juice 1tsp
β’ Pecans ΒΌ cup
β’ Pumpkin Spice Β½ tsp
β’ Himalayan pink salt pinch
PECANS β PROCESS
β’ Place the pecans in a hot frying pan and roast them for 1 or 2 min.
β’ When ready, set them aside to cool down for a few minutes.
β’ In a food processor, grind them by pressing the pulse button.
β’ Make sure they remain chunky.
PROCESS β MAPLE SYRUP CARAMEL
β’ Slice your pear evenly into thin slices as shown in a photo.
β’ Remove the bottom part.
β’ Blend the Maple syrup with lemon, pumpkin spice and salt.
β’ Heat up the frying pan and pour the mixture in the middle.
β’ Bring to a boil then turn down the heat very low.
β’ Dip each slice on both sides starting with the first one.
β’ After you dip the first one, place it on a flat surface (can be plate or tray).
β’ Sprinkle each slice with crushed pecans before you adding another slice.
β’ Repeat until you have your pear completed.
β’ Scoop the caramelized mixture into a sauce pitcher.
β’ Pour mixture in the middle of a plate.
β’ Sprinkle with crashed pecans and place the pear very carefully in the middle by using a spatula.
β’ Garnish with a few whole pecans and edible flowers such as orchids or other flowers of your choice.
