Hai steemer stamers

Today.. We have an another piece for @cobmaximus. Ya know I was worried I entered in with the wrong topic because everyone seems to do pirates with these contest for some reason, LEL but nah, I was okay. Pheww.

Anyways this is the comic cover that I had to refference off with. But this time.. I could make it even more.. Deeper hehehe. Took a lotta brain storming to come up with it sooo yeah.

Thougths

I guess the meaning of this can be interperted in many ways, though it is obvious for some degree. But ya knoww open for interpertaion :D which I really had fun with ehehhehhhh

Time took: 2 hours 34 minutes (without breaks)
Programs: ibispaint
Tools: my phone and the devils hands

First with the sketch and all, I brainstormed in my.. brain.
Trying to get the scene and the mood going, just typical sketchy stuff.

Then I darken the sky, again, trying to get it into the mood of darkness and CRAWLING IN MY CRAAAAWL and ofcourse who could forget the angsty rain LEL.

Finally I made it with some weird shiny effects because I thought it looks cool, fixing 525's mouth and adding a city background to make it more immersive, even if its going to get blurred in the end.

Then I started to detail it blending the layers with over painting. Which you create a new layer and just color pick and blend all the things.

Starting to color, I tried to use the black and white to color technique like last time. By the way, yes the guy falling is moved because it looked weird

With contrasting colors I use blending mulitply and add.

For some reason I like the non blurry one soo
