So I was checking out Google Trends for Steemit and BOOM China is the #1 country searching Steemit right now! This is the type of trend that changes the world! Steemit is going to change Chinese culture allowing a renaissance of modern digital Chinese art, culture and literature. A whole new class of Chinese Paid Artists will roam Asia finding inspiration, traveling with the steem they earn from their blogs, allowing cryptocurrency to become their social support system with steemit allowing for a decentralized and thus efficient and futuristic social network that will echo into the Ancient bureaucracies of Chinese society allowing government education healthcare and all sorts of aspects of Chinese society to benefit from the Steem Blockchain.

This is GREAT news for Venezuela and I have also noticed a lot of Slovenian people on Steemit ( @kid4life lol ) And I also know that South korea was noted as being a top steemit supporting nation according to Search Results and was celebarted as the top nation for steemit earlier this year. And as for Nepal on Steemit i have noticed a lot of people in the himalayas are posting photos of the temples and mountains around them and they do seem to be very happy people which is very good for steemit! Nepal seems like a great place to Blog from with many photo opportunities and a spiritual aspect I know many western internet users will enjoy!
So back to the Graph from Google Trends showing Steemit Search popularity. When we zoom out to last 5 years on the graph Nepal is #1 for steemit search!(Happiest country on Earth according to Statistics)
And remember with these graphs from Google Trends I wanted to show everyone how fast Steemit's popularity is growing and just highlight the fact that we are in fact still growing at all! We will only keep gaining more users as steempower gives us all incentive to continue using the platform and so we should only expect the steem price to go up as our user base doubles and triples and we start to gain many millions of users in the next few years.
As more people use steem the more valuable it becomes and the higher the price of steem goes. Bitcoin has a similar feature as it is going through the "network effect" in a more advanced stage where as more and more people begin using Bitcoin it becomes more and more useful as a currency and so it becomes more valuable! The price of steem will also go up as many people begin to use it and we should even see Steem as a competitor to Bitcoin as more and more people begin to use both and see the benefits of Steem and its $0 transaction fee!
I am very happy to see the Chinese searching for Steemit because this will allow for a great discussion about free speech in China which will allow for more creative freedom and a higher quality of Art and Culture to come forth from the fountainhead of the largest population on Earth with very high IQs, so the Chinese will give the planet Earth a LOT of contributions and we will see many new invention designs and Art to come from China and Steemit will only help this! China has historically been one of the oldest centers of art and culture and science so we will see many new innovations with cryptocurrency using the blockchain in all aspects of Chinese life when the Chinese government starts to keep records with blockchains and cuts costs and creates a government that runs on autopilot maybe with NEO smart contracts?
The Chinese have always been the masters of bureaucracy and has a tradition of testing the young with the first standardized tests to find out who would make the best bureaucrats for the Emperor's palace, and these tests were given out in ancient times and were the first standardized tests and may explain why the Chinese have such high test schools in school to this day XD Steemit would allow Chinese students to earn an income off their homework and Chinese government workers could use Steemit to fund their local city governments! I am starting to think that maybe the popularity of Steemit in China has to do with the success of steemit travel blogger @sweetsssj and her success on the front page of Steemit almost everyday :D (which I enjoy because of the standard she sets of consistent high quality posting). Right now most of her followers are not from China, she has gained followers from all over the world probably most from the US where most steemit users just happen to be from but I am sure once more Chinese join she will start to have a very large Chinese following who will want to support their compatriot on this platform. I believe because the Chinese see that the Steemit community is willing to accept a Chinese person as one of their top users that the Chinese feel more comfortable trying this social media out and that MIGHT be one of the reasons why China comes up as the #1 country for steemit google search according to google trends. Also I believe the decentralized harmony of Steemit appeals to the Chinese ideals of meritocracy and Steemit being a fair and free market system that allows anyone to earn or buy influence is an attractive system for Chinese culture from my understanding.

China is going to be continuing to use crypto currency and any idea that there will be a "War on Crypto" is pretty irrational! The Chinese are heavily entrenched in cryptocurrency as a long term plan and the dynamic environment of CHina where new people come into power and wealth all the time is a reason why the Government must perform such complex maneuvers. They must shut down the exchanges to have them later reopen with government oversight and they must be strict or they could risk loosing control of the economy to the minority in control of crypto currency as nearly all of the countries money could begin flooding into these exchanges to purchase Bitcoin and Altcoins with Chinese Yuan (Renimbi) so imagine what would happen if Chinese all dumped their own money for bitcoin! They are not ready for this but they will be soon!
The Chinese will make sure that they don't loose control of all that wealth currently stored in banks run by the government, because they KNOW that with every bit of free cash people can buy cryptocurrency and make much more money, and the Chinese public is hungry for anyway to make extra passive income with their savings to turn savings into another investment and Bitcoin becomes more and more of a guaranteed long term investment for more and more Chinese. They need to make sure they keep control of all that liquid money that is about to start flooding into the Chinese Exchanges, and there will be a very large amount of money coming in from the Chinese public and not just the small minority of crypto enthusiasts. The everyday average Chinese person that currently uses Alipay to buy everyday items and send or receive money and to do peer 2 peer lending to make an interest rate on their savings accounts will eventually have bitcoin features and since people already buy and sell bitcoin using Alipay, they will be able to use Alipay on exchanges as a simple way to buy and sell Bitcoin. So even Alipay, the most common form of payment now in China, will now have bitcoin functionality OR Alipay will try to create their own IC blockchain token, either way Bitcoin will be involved one way or another and most likely Alipay will allow users to buy and sell Bitcoin directly to stop the third party markets that allow people to trade Alipay which is just digital Chinese yuan, with Bitcoin, and I'm sure Alipay would like to get that entire market for itself for many reasons financial and political. And the Chinese have a HUGE stake in Bitcoin Mining! Just look at this infographic (from a steemit post 2 months ago by @mobbs ) showing China's dominance in Bitcoin Mining power:
China has a massive INVESTMENT in Cryptocurrency and especially Bitcoin. We need to realize that China will always be the Middle Kingdom of Bitcoin and will never "stop" something it is so highly invested in! They just have to flex power from time to time and that is what these recent moves are all about! They have to remind the world that China can send Bitcoin crashing and jamie Dimon was the West showing that it had power over Crypto markets as well. But don't confuse this with China giving up it's Golden Goose that is Bitcoin. China is harmonious and it is not in the business of turning its Bitcoin community and exchanges into a criminal underclass like illegal drug dealers, so no there will be no War on Crypto like the rumors claim! Here is an image from another cointelegraph article from back in June about how China already issued and then lifted a ban on trading bitcoin, and so we should remember that this whole China FUD happens a lot in crypto land. And if the Chinese government ever does issue edicts about Bitcoin it is most often to flex muscles and or fake news or it is just a way to introduce regulations and is misinterpreted as some sort of "Ban" on crypto. But let us remember how much Bitcoin Mining is going on in China and how the Miners will ALWAYS find someone who will want to buy some Bitcoin especially at a discount since it can then be traded for a profit and there are so many ways to digitally transfer money in and out of China, but the Chinese government KNOWS this but it MUST save face! Just like ANY major government, there are going to be new technologies that make it difficult to enforce certain laws and the Chinese government should not have to face the embarrassment of trying to ban the unbannable. Taxes might be one concern that all governments will want to address and it will be necessary to give the illusion that the Chinese Government is aware of and watching over all exchanges so that population voluntarily pays its taxes and does not attempt to hide profits in the shadows of crypto. But they also understand not to upset the Golden Goose that is providing employment for so many Chinese.
The Chinese are a very High IQ population among the highest in the world, and they will be using Cryptocurrency since it is a new and powerful technology and since they are #1 in the world with Bitcoin right now they will not be so quick to take away their own global dominance of such an important emerging financial instrument and potentially quadrillion dollar asset and multi trillion dollar Industry! And we should also be looking to Chinese answers to Ethereum like NEO which will be the blockchain for the Chinese government. We will see some VERY advanced and intelligent moves by the very cunning and machiavellian Chinese government. They know what they are doing and it is going to benefit China with its actions. We will see a future where China continues to lead in its Bitcoin Industry and we will NOW get to see what the Chinese can do on Steemit as Steemit gives China a brand new system to pour into and also Golos becomes another option. Golos is a hardforked Steem blockchain for the East mostly used by Russians but will be marketed to India and China. Or the Chinese could hardfork to their own steem blockchain which might be very interesting but I do hope the Chinese remain on the same steem blockchain as the west to facilitate trans pacific currency exchange since Bitcoin can be expensive but Steem has $0 Transaction fee nothing so its free to send as much steem as you want to china and back while it costs a lot to send bitcoin to china, and steem could end up being a great investment with Steempower for Chinese bloggers wishing to earn money with their blogging habits! MANY many MANY benefits can be had from the use of steem blockchain in China. The average Chinese person can earn extra money and find a global audience to promote people to visit China!
I see a bright future for Steemit in China and with 1.3 Billion potential users I see the price of steem going well past $1000 after a possible mass Chinese adoption! And Chinese are smart and frugal and will love the idea of making money from otherwise pointless social media and THEN once Steemit becomes popular in China, since the Chinese are now Financial trendsetters, then you will see Americans and other westerner publics adopting Steemit on mass to "catch up" with the Chinese! Parents in the USA will nag their children to join steemit to try making some money after they see a news report about how smart Chinese college students are using Steemit to pay tuition! We will see a lot of Mass adoption in China maybe even before the west and I see this as a welcome chance for amazing growth of the steem blockchain and thus its strengthening AND the price of steem will go up with all the new Chinese users buying up steempower to make extra money with curation following the lead of @sweetsssj Oh yes there will be many following her example and I cannot wait! She has created a whole new profession and as she does Travel blogs others will do Cooking or Makeup blogs or Technology and Movie review and gaming blogs. New users will join and just like @sweetsssj they will invent new styles of posting and create whole micro economies within steemit and these types of social media stars will be what drives a lot of traffic for steemit just like on every other Social media website and by studying the rise of past social media platforms that became popular fast we can make predictions about what we could very well see with Steemit when it reaches its popularity tipping point.

Steemit will get new features, a fiat btc exchange and gateway to buy and sell Steem directly, an official steemit App, community issued assets (steem based ICOs) and Steemit will have many new upgrades and new features bells and whistles galore, but Content is King! COntent is what will bring people to steemit in the end and we WILL end up with ALL of those Power users who create all the best most viewed and upvoted/liked content on the web. So all that traffic on reddit? It will be ours when those top reddit users end up switching to Steemit to actually end up making some money off their hobby! Content is a numbers game and CHina has the most numbers. The Chinese population will have a great effect on Steemit and the content they create will be viewed by many westerners since Steemit does not segregate its non English content so Steemit's Trending front page could very well continue to fill up with Chinese titles in the Chinese language, and Western English speaking audiences will just have to get used to seeing Chinese top stories and will most likely read them (using google chrome's auto translate feature) and we will be able to enjoy the photos without learning Chinese and it will help spread Chinese culture around the world.

So the Chinese can encourage their people to join steemit and post in Chinese to saturate Steemit's front page with Chinese culture to expose foreigners to the best of China, so there are many benefits in store for a future China that adopts Steemit both financial and social. Steem and China will be a harmonious relationship where both parties come out ahead. Steem will help China's young people to claim their cryptocurrency birthright and earn some Bitcoin from posting content, while Steemit can gain massive user base and new Chinese investors and steempower holders who will view steem as a long term cryprtocurrency investment as they do with all their cryptocurrency investments, and they will help steem rise up to nw levels and this is why we should be excited about the Chinese joining Steemit!
