The sleeping whale...just how big is she?

I would respectfully like to ask Steemit.inc what other accounts, besides the steemit account, they control? I've made a table of accounts that have 25.0 reputation and low to zero posting and curation figures. In the top 200 accounts, there are 47;

As you can see, the total Steem for these accounts comes to over 17 million. I appreciate that not all of these will be controlled by Steemit.inc but it is still a significant figure...about a quarter of the value of the Steemit account itself...and that is without taking into account those not in the top 200.

I am absolutely NOT implying anything is wrong with the existence of these accounts or their management to date. But if it turns out there is a significant amount of Steem controlled by Steemit that is spread across multiple accounts and especially in light of the Steem price increases, I think it's in all steemian's interest to discuss the potential impact of this sleeping whale power.

I think it is important for everyone to know exactly how much influence Steemit.inc wields across the network and what configuration it is in.

It is equally important for everyone to understand what intentions Steemit.inc has for these accounts. Further development would appear to be very well funded and that it has already been widely recognised that something constructive and fair needed to be done to address the main Steemit.inc account's dominance already...consideration should be given to these other accounts as well.

It was perhaps an intention to sell these accounts 'off market.' However, given the current price of Steem and that Steemit has plenty of funds, I would question the ethics behind selling these accounts off below the market price. Thousands of people are buying Steem at the market price, everyone else should do the same where Steemit.inc controlled Steem is concerned.

Growth Idea

Pick a date in the future and make it known that all the Steem in all sleeper accounts controlled by Steemit.inc will be burned. That would give anyone interested a chance to buy or earn Steem before all Steemians would receive a boon in a quite significant reduction in total supply.

I think this plan would be easy to communicate, easy to execute and would benefit all Steemians.
