3 months on Steemit - My Train Is Losing Steem

Florida State Professor Caught Writing Rate Professor Reviews

Now that some time has passed and been blogging on Steemit, I found myself losing a little interest. Sure it's only pennies I'm making but it's not that. When I read through other users posts, I find myself wondering if this actual user made the post. What I mean by that is Steemit has a place for professional writers and there seems to be a lot of users going to them. The writers take their draft and make proper corrections before publishing.

Now I understand that for a career and providing correct information, it is necessary. However, this is a social media blog on the internet. There are supposed to be mistakes in posts and improper grammar and spelling because each user is not a professional writer. Things can be edited right on the spot for corrections so to judge a post on those criteria does not seem valid to me.

So who am I voting for exactly? the editor? or the person that came up with the idea of the post? I feel those 2 should be one in the same since this is a person's own blog. We critique and judge posts and are saying who deserves votes that will payout big.

So is there any point in paying attention to my votes? I am expecting to vote on an actual individuals thoughts and how they themselves present them on here. Will the new changes have any effect on this?

It seems if you don't have a professional enough post or have a lot of Steem Power, you are not worth a whale vote or a vote from a regular user. Who are the ones that should be rewarded? The one's that post multiple posts a day using the platform or the one's the post once every few weeks, months, and everyone votes on their post because they see how much Steem Power they have and hope that they receive a vote back.

Yes I may receive a good vote on this post or maybe not. I do know that this post was not professionally written so users will be voting on a content that is completely from me. So if there's mistakes and it looks like a did a shitty job on it, It's because I am not a professional, I am not perfect, and because I prefer to have the post that way.

So I say to users on Steemit, do you really know who or what your're voting on?

I guess that's why music artists get all the attention and credit for songs someone else wrote.
