Everything operates on the law of supply and demand, sales people just try and impress customers so the will pay a higher final price.
When Steemit was released the supply of money had been building up since April till the July payout. This totally overvalued the price point of Steem. Once this new fad hit the net click baiters came along and earned large sums of money and this further misplaced the price of Steem.
Voting RoBOTS and the sudden new off platform resources further added to the problem. The Click Baiters have been basically identified (by their tactics) the Bot Wars have mainly been won ( I still feel terrible about WANG ) that was not pleasant . . .
So today we have a realistic price point for Steem and over time people will be able to build upon that.
Steemit is an open transparent platform where you get paid reward tokens by using the website. Unlike most other rewards programs you can actually use these rewards ! ! !
