IMAGINE my surprise when I thought that most of my followers on Steemit would be real, relevant and constructive in their criticism and perhaps provide comments of 'well done' - clearly this 'expectation' was wrong.
Thanks to a great tool developed by @pilcrow and @sjennon I was able to determine exactly which of my followers are actually 'dead' and how many have actually contributed in the form of upvotes, comments etc.
MY KINGDOM OF THE DEAD

For lack of a better word, I was somewhat disappointed to find that out of my 358 followers only 34 are legit. (This number is likely to increase after this post goes live, since I tend to gain 'followers' after each post)
In the same breath, I would like to highlight some of my most loyal followers who have contributed greatly to me - to @ramonalsamuels, @creativetruth, @synekto, @honeysim, @jasmink, @bjornb and @samiulbd - you guys are legends. I hope to gain more followers like you.
The irony though is that I will continue to fork out the content I have been writing for the last three months with the hope that I can somehow influence further Steemians in a good way and perhaps be of some service in helping some of you figure out things I am learning on a daily basis - be that in the form of bonsai or how to transfer funds and stuff.
Herewith a shot of what my results were once I made use of the tool:

Want to see how many of your followers are legit? Check it out for yourself
Not only does this tool show you which categories your followers fall into, it also shows:
- Most loyal follower: Taken by @ramonalsamuels
- Highest upvote received: Taken by @creativetruth
- A list of top voters - there are a few.
Now, my only problem with this is that I would rather have 34 followers as opposed to the total of 358 and know that at least, those 34 followers actively engaged with me - after all, that's at least constructive.
