We are back home after an enjoyable 6 days at our second home - Tokyo. This trip marks our 19th visit to Japan and the second one in year 2018, with a flower theme. While we had very fond and colourful memories of Ashikaga Flower Park, Hitachi Seaside Park and Bar Zingaro (will share on separate posts), the best highlight of the trip is our first meeting with the Japanese Steemit Community!
It is actually the first time we attended a social networking event as a couple and we were quite nervous about it. Our worries were proven baseless and unnecessary because the Japanese Steemit Community was such a fun-loving and hospitable host!
We had such an enjoyable evening engaging with them, chatting about Singapore, Japan, travel interests, steemian community in both countries and trends. All done while indulging in sumptuous dishes at Racines FARM to PARK restaurant in Ikebukuro.
A big thank you once again to @kayoko, @yoshiko, @sho-t, @kinakomochi, @childcare, @shogo, @moromaro for organising this meet-up and welcoming us to the team. We are deeply impressed and motivated by the friendliness and strong efforts and commitment from everyone in developing #japanese. There will certainly be more opportunities for us to meet again and till then, let's work hard together to drive steemit in our respective communities!
