Wise thinkers
I was having a chat with @thejohalfiles on comments last night, and we got chatting about money and how it is an enabler in life. Both us earn our money away from the platform, so were here to give comments and help to the community overall.
For me @thejohalfiles is one of the best commenters on here alongside @baah and @lifeworship. These are guys that have seen everything life can throw at them, and they all have excellent strong philosophies to boot!
Facebook deloaded
Anyways, back to the topic in hand. Following on from @papa-pepper's post on the Facebook topic of his account not having $10K in it, I thought I would follow in his footsteps as he makes an excellent role model for all Steemians.
Yesterday I finally deactivated my Facebook account, as my timeline is just filled with pseudo-spiritual crap and referral links to cryptocoins. The interface is too clunky now, and even deactivating the account itself is a pain in the ass!
I now walk away from that account with not one cent to my name, but they have all the data on me to mine me to death for the next 3 lifetimes - and still have spare change left over! Goodbye to that centralized big-brother bullshit.
My aim now it to boost my Steemit to $15K by year 1, which is not a bad income for a wee side hobby to my forex trading which can generate x5 times that. There the market caps run into the trillions.
Right, I'll finish off by saying that if your thinking of leaving Facebook, THEN DEACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT TODAY AND COME OVER TO STEEMIT. In the long run, you'll thank me for it.
There, I've said it all now. So come for the money and stay for the community, and "Rock on!" to @thejohalfiles et al.
