Perhaps it is Time to Remove the "Promoted" Section in Steemit. As I looked today at this tab, I found "No promoted #undefined posts found", which leads me to believe this feature is not being used (or there is some glitch). Either way, I don't think it ever gained much of a following.
It was a creative initiative, but it failed. Now it is an eyesore. Let's get rid of it.
I applaud the exploration of ideas and the speed in which the developers made it a reality, but it is time to let it go. Let's purge the weak aspects of Steemit and replace them with new ideas. This is how we evolve the site into a stronger and better social media platform.
Bury it with honors and let's move on.
