Problem

One of the easiest way to earn on the Blockchain is to Blog(Mining with the Brain), even though there is a high chance that over 80% of your articles might not get seen and read, same goes for getting likes/upvotes giving you some credits in terms of Rewards. One of the attributed factors is the wrong or misuses of tags in an article/blog. This and many more are the problems Less-established contents creators/Authors/Writers/Bloggers face on this platform; irrespective of how long you must have been active in this community, you might still be getting Tagging right per your multiple Blogs.

Then the user base was not as massive as we have now, but now how do you get your hard composed articles seen by a lot of people?

How many times have you visited the tags page? Or do you even check-out the tags used on most trending posts? This are the simple tiny information users(Both very new and old) don't pay attention to and hereby end up disappointed after several attempts to blogging without rewards. The key to a rewarding Blockchain Career is interactions but using the appropriate Tags in any Blog is also and "ingredient". This seems a monumental task to several newbies but i say how hard can it be to Navigate a new platform properly before carrying out any task?

As a new user, you'd be surprise that your Rep, your contents and the right Tags does the magic to your articles been visited by other "Steemizens", once you have a Good Title and Relevant contents,
the Tags also attracts people to your posts.

Here are some Selected Instances:

Writing about your Dad, Mom or Siblings, Grandparents, Uncle, Aunt and Nephew with Nieces or maybe a story on last Thanksgiving you had with the entire extend kinsmen should fall under one tag,
which is "Family"
Maybe you like to write on War films, Thrillers, Comedy, Sci-Fi, Animations/Cartoons and several other Genre of films. this all fits under "Movies" and or "Entertainment".
Your everyday activities, what happened at work or School, an incident that occurred a street next to yours, how someone's day ended up being wrecked and maybe how a Boss or Teacher treats his/her students or workers could fit perfectly in "Life".
A blog about your mood or condition could fit under "Writing" or "Health". Maybe you are Happy, sad, sick, hungry, injured etc. this could also all fit in under "Blog" so far people could ready and know what your mood is as the time your are composing it.
What about people blogging on ICOs, A new Token, Altcoins? I believe "Business, Investment, Cryptocurrency" is sufficient to do the Tag tricks here.

This and many more are the ways to put tags to a very good use, it is amazing how this becomes so horribly sad seeing people Tags that are out of Sync with what is officially available on the platform.

Some of the Benefits to Tag Smartly:

Firstly, you increase your chances to get seen by distributing your article into different field using various Tags. Secondly; you are making it easy for whoever wishes to use your articles for a research work as you just removed the stress of multiple searches. Using the appropriate Tags indicates you are a serious and committed blogger, anyone who sees your blog would not hesitate to give it a try. Lastly,
going through the Tag page could help you decide a topic of interest to Blog on.

Except you are a Whale or some influencer/a Known figure, only then you could tweak and come-up with new different tags at your beck and call; until then-make smart use of Tags!
