Since the reward period changed from 1 to 7 days, I think one could try not to let his recent posts to get in oblivion after their first day.
I mean, the Steemit frontpage doesn't have yet an option to let you see your feed by author, or by unread-first, or by active-posts, so, unless your post goes to Trending, it will be seen and voted just in its first hours (mostly).
What can a user do to promote his valuable (?) posts during their 7 days period? Well, this post is a list of my posts that can still be upvoted. ;)
A promo like this looks spam, I see it. Probably it would be better to put this list - or just a link to our own blog page - at the end of each new post. I'm just giving a try :)
