BLOCKCHAIN Social Media is set to value MEDIA..!!
Yesterday I posted an article setting out why BLOCKCHAIN is set to transform Global Social Media into a +$10 Trillion Power Industry.
The purpose of the article was to help explain how STEEMIT is effectively re-writing the rules for Social Media.
For over 12 years since the birth of Facebook, Social Media users have provided all their content for free.
As explained yesterday this is about to change.
BLOCKCHAIN Social Media meets BLOCKCHAIN Mainstream Media
In the coming weeks, months, and years BLOCKCHAIN is set to revolutionise the Internet way beyond the imagination of even the smartest of people.
To recap, BLOCKCHAIN Technology is effective an Engine that drives Cryptography in order to value a consensus across a network of computers.
The BLOCKCHAIN Engine was born out of the Underlying Technology of Bitcoin and its uses are limitless.
Below are a few of those uses.
FINANCE
Tests are currently being carried out by Banks and Financial Intuitions to establish the successful transfer of assets including DERIVATIVES, STOCKS, BONDS, CURRENCIES, OPTIONS to name but a few.
Successful migration to BLOCKCHAIN will help reduce Global Banking cost enormously but the greatest benefit without doubt will be to reduce the Systemic Risk of the current Financial Environment.
In the coming weeks I will continue to explain how this will happen.
GOVERNMENT
Governments throughout the World are witnessing an unprecedented shift to accountability more now than ever.
The real fabric of true Democracy is at stake if practices continue to be carried without complete and thorough checks and balances.
BLOCKCHAIN will play a huge part in the future of Government practice and accountability.
TRADE
At present there are huge debates about Global Trade and Trade Agreements.
This is about to change.
Global Trade Agreements were great in the 1970’s but this is 2016 and beyond.
With the Internet now coming out of childhood and into adulthood BLOCKCHAIN will help this transition by allowing Global Trade Agreements to be set on the BLOCKCHAIN.
Again as with Finance I will explain how this will play out in the coming weeks.
BLOCKCHAIN Social Media meets BLOCKCHAIN Mainstream Media
The bit that I wanted to concentrate on in this article was how BLOCKCHAIN Social Media is about to shake up Global Media and how STEEMIT is sat on was can only be described as a Technical Masterpiece.
Without doubt BLOCKCHAIN Technology will go down in history alongside the technological innovations such as: The Invention of Electricity, The Splitting of the Atom, The DNA Breakthrough, and The Creation of the Internet itself.
I may go as far to say that it will be as big as all of those put together.
For the first time ever since the Internet was invented BLOCKCHAIN is set to value it.
At present the Internet that we know is The Internet of Information.
BLOCKCHAIN is about to value this and create The Internet of Value.
In essence BLOCKCHAIN will for the first time put a value on everything on the Internet.
The reason for the title, “Why Dan and Ned are geniuses, and why people should take BLOCKCHAIN seriously” is that I believe they have opened Pandora’s Box not only on Social Media but on MEDIA as a whole.
That’s right, they have just set the cat amongst the pigeons on Mainstream Media.
For the first time ever Dan and Ned has allowed people to put a true value on what people believe is the TRUTH or not.
STEEMIT will not stop at STEEMIT this I can be assured off.
Soon we will see a Facebook Dollar, a Twitter Dollar, a You Tube Dollar, an Instagram Dollar and more, all powered by an Universal BLOCKCHAIN Engine.
Content will be measured and valued and rewarded based on quality and more importantly TRUTH..!!
This takes us nicely on to Mainstream News.
Since the advent of the Internet in the 1980’s and more so the rise of Social Media in the late 2000’s Mainstream News has battled with people’s concerns as to whether what they are being told is the TRUTH or not.
Step in BLOCKCHAIN..!!
As more people choose Social Media as their first “go-to” source of News this will put a huge pressure on Mainstream News.
All people want is the TRUTH and that it is delivered concise, accurately and fast.
In order for people to accept that what they are being told is the TRUTH, future News Feeds, Articles, Publications etc will be powered by the BLOCKCHAIN Engine.
That's right, you read it correctly, ALL News Feeds, Articles, Publications etc will be powered by the BLOCKCHAIN.
EXAMPLE OF MAINSTREAM NEWS FEED ON BLOCKCHAIN
Harry and Pandora’s Box..!!
Let’s take a Politician running for office and for the sake of this example call him Harry.
Harry the Politician is up against some stiff and fierce competition from the opponent side and Mainstream Media is biased towards to Harry.
Obviously Harry will get a better coverage than his opponent through Mainstream Media whether the facts laid out are the TRUTH or not.
Now poor Harry starts to feel unwell and has to take some time off. Of course the campaign does not want to risk losing any voters so they replace poor Harry with a body double.
Now of course they can do this without any accountability.
What would happen if this NEWS FEED was placed on the BLOCKCHAIN and its value measured for ACCURACY.
You can see where this is going..!!
Poor Harry won’t be able to lie again and if he did and Mainstream News was not BLOCKCHAIN compliant, would people believe it or not..??
This is why Dan and Ned have potentially created what could in time turn out to be the key that opens Pandora’s Box..!!
