I’ve set some goals around how I can best support the Steemit community. Today I’d like to share those goals with you and explain how I will do this. These goals are not SMART goals. These are not time bound or measurable; these are more like principles.

The 5 Torrey.blog Steemit Goals:

  1. Help Steemian writers write more and write better.
  2. Be a cheerleader for Steemians moving towards their goals.
  3. Promote a mindset of abundance on Steemit.
  4. Teach Steemians about personal growth.
  5. Foster learning and mastery of skills on Steemit.

More details below

1. Help Steemian writers write more and write better.

I've invested countless hours practicing the craft of writing. Writing is a strength of mine which can be applied to support the Steemit community. This goal can be realized by coaching Steemians on improving writing process and improving writing quality.

2. Be a cheerleader for Steemians moving towards their goals.

We all need a little motivation. Those of us who move towards our goals deserve celebration. This goal can be realized by connecting with many Steemians, encouraging them to set clear goals, and applauding them on their pursuit of those goals.

3. Promote a mindset of abundance on Steemit

Humanity has enough fear. And there is more than enough good to go around. This goal can be realized by posting and curating positive, uplifting content.

4. Teach Steemians about personal growth

Most of us have deeply embedded beliefs from our past. Personal growth is about upgrading your operating system. And getting 1% better, every day. This goal can be realized by posting and curating high quality personal-growth content.

5. Foster learning and mastery of skills on Steemit

Personal growth is not all about philosophy. It's also about mastering practical skills, and getting better at your craft. This goal can be realized by posting and curating skills-oriented content. Examples are 'how-to' articles, and online courses.
