I hired my twin sister to design my Steemit Header! A well spent first payment in cryptocurrency

Just wanted to write a little post, excited as I am, to share my new Steemit header with you.

It it designed by my twin sister, Lotte, who I mentioned in most of my posts. She and I are very close. My sister has a background in industrial product design and mainly focuses on 2D animation in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. This banner was made in Illustrator.

I love her style, as it is usually very colorful and has a positive, innocent style to it. It is pretty much a reflection of her inner being. I guess that, in a way, she has always been the yang to my yin: countering my tendency towards negativity with her natural positivity. Or my darkness with her brightness.

These days I have left the dark side and I am living on the bright side too. My new project, The A to Z of Creativity, that is named on my page and in this banner, will definitely contribute to this. As long as I keep on moving, meeting interesting new people and listening to their stories, I will be the best me that I can be. And I plan to give that 'me' to you, by sharing my adventures and stories with you as much as possible.

So now, without further ado, I present to you what my twin sister designed for me today:
The next image you see is her first design. It took her half an hour to make this:

I asked her to add some (more) color, as Steemit itself has quite a white look. She then changed it in design number 2:

If you look closely to the next and final design, you see two little changes between this one and number 2. I challenge you to find those yourself, haha!

And Now Back to Business

While I was working on this post, my sister sent me another email with a business card she designed for me. I had to interrupt tmy writing to get back to her and I will wait with posting this, until I receive the final result. This way I can share that design with you too.

I waited a little bit and here it is. My first business card in about a decade. I can't wait to hand it out to people on my journey along the Dutch coast (If I don't forget to print it).

My first Payment in Bitcoin

Before I forget, I offered my twin sister to pay her in a little bitcoin. We had the same amount in mind. If we think the same thing at the same time, we tend to call this 'twin power'.

It felt good to be able to pay my twin sister. Especially in something that has the potential to grow a lot. I feel it will help her out with her future. I already invested some money for her in cryptocurrency and hope she will be able to buy that camper van that she's got her eye on. It will be the next step towards her freedom. A little closer to her dream home in Portugal.
