Is It Just Me, Or Is The Steem Community Nicer Than Other Communities?

So here is the thing. Whatever I post, whether it is opinion, photos, stories, the start of a discussion, almost all of my messages are positive or at least respectful. Okay I have seen some fights break out as we make our way through beta, but as this site involves rewards, which is money, heated arguments are bound to happen. But even with that, we still manage to come to a consensus on complicated changes for the system. Even the founder @ned is a cool guy when he comments and @zurvanic and @andrarchy are nothing but class.

For example look at my post about starting to lose weight:

I got nothing but support from people. I don't know these people. They could have easily wrote, "maybe you should get off the computer and stop eating fast ass". But they didn't. I got nothing but nice comments. Shout-out to @natator88, @pitterpatter, @woodendart

I have never been trolled on this site. Just positive and constructive feedback. Even when people make teasing jokes, you can see the good nature behind them. Now this might be because money is involved and people want to be liked as it effects their rewards but still, a pleasant experience regardless :p.

And I'm sure I will get nothing but nice comments. Am I setting myself up for failure. I don't think I am.

Go steem

p.s.

I typed in nice in pixabay to look for photo and one of the things that came up was a woman's backside... oh the internet.
