Hong Kong's last river Sampan at Nam Sang Wai
香港 最后一个舢舨, 桑南围

Hong Kong ( 香港 )( SAR ) last River Ferry , criss-crossed by the Kam Tin River and Shan Pui River,
which run Nam Sang Wai from Yuen Long. These Sampan are used to Ferry people across the river.

[DYK] - Do you know , what is a Sampan?
Sampan (Chinese : 舢舨 pinyin shānbǎn, sam-pán ) are flat bottomed Chinese wooden Boat. Some Sampans include small shelter on board. They are used for transportation in coastal areas or rivers, some often use as fishing boats. Sampans may be propelled by poles, oars ( particularly a single, long sculling oar called a Yulloh, or may fitted with outboard motors.


Here, some cyclists are using the Sampan to cross the river, with some pedestrians.
