Often we were awake as children when the full moon shone through the window. We were afraid because the brightness at this late hour made us unsure. At the same time, we were captivated by his splendid light. If we did not find peace, grandmother always told us a story. We enjoyed their proximity and listened intently to her. Her stories were mostly accompanied by grief and loss. But one of them who accompanied her throughout the years was the moon, he gave her peace and taught her to let go. And today I look at this moon with reverence, because he is also faithful companion to me, and taught me not to let go of the past.
In secret memory of my beloved grandmother
