Marvão is a small village perched on a granite crag of the Serra de São Mamede, in Alentejo region.
It has narrow streets lined with beautiful popular houses, beeing easy to find Gothic arches, Manueline windows, wrought-iron balconies and crannies of the buildings made from the local granite.
