Autumn's colours are spectacular in Japan! It's also mercifully cool, and in my opinion the perfect time to visit.
These pictures were taken in November as that is when the Japanese Maple, Momiji, is showing its most brilliant colour. Currently, everything but the cherry trees are still green.
