Comment ideas for events to be held in a place called Steemland in a virtual world that you would be interested in.
What would you like to do or see?
Having talk with numerous people and finding some interest in the possibility of a virtual land with the theme of Steem(it), would like to reach out to find more interest and start building something together.
One potential event is a poker game that can be played for Steem Dollars. Steemland can host a Steem Dollar buy in game or sit-n-go. There is also 20 Steem Dollars reserved for a sit-n-go freeroll for the first ten players. This will be scheduled when a time is found that ten people are interested and able to attend. Currently we have interest from different time zones and days off. So this poker promotion is being delayed at the moment.

There was interest in a virtual Steemfest too. In order to create a virtual Steemfest we need your ideas to build into Steemfest. Feel free to comment with what you would like to have in Steemland and see for a virtual Steemfest. Things from personal users as simple as their blogs and artwork can be presented in the 3-D virtual world. Steemit projects would be presented with a variety of pictures that could be linked to internet sources. Or speakers or groups could come to Steemland and make a live virtual world presentation with a mixture of pictures, text, and voice chat to a few people or a small group.
Lastly being involved with #steemprentice there is the possibility of having live help sessions for some new users. We could invite a group of mentors and mentees. Then show them pictures to help them learn about topics about steemit and using steemit.com something like a slide show. This would expound from the group chat and add in visual aids which may be helpful for numerous groups and possibly meetings for users working on a project together.
