Every week, I search the deepest corners of the steem platform to look for a new or underrated tool that I think would be of interest to some of you.
With tens of thousands of blog posts being published to the Steem blockchain everyday and with only a handful of selfless curators around, it's only fair to assume that without any proper tools new authors have to rely solely on luck in order for their posts to be noticed and seen. But thanks to an awesome project initiated by @curie, there is now a free and useful tool (mostly aimed at curators) that will increase the likelihood of Discovering Exceptional Contents.

Introducing SteemLookUp!
SteemLookUp is a filtering tool that allows you to browse and filter Steem content in an efficient way. It is directly connected to the Steem blockchain and is fast and reliable. The project was initiated and is supported by @curie and created by @djordjeparovic and @laniakea1. ~Source
How to use SteemLookUp
SteemLookUp can be accessed for free at https://steemlookup.com .

There are three panels. The first panel is where you can do the filtering. The middle panel is where the filtered results appear and gives basic information about the post. It displays pending payout, number of images used, number of words, comments and upvotes received and the natural SP of the author. While the third panel gives a quick preview of the post as what you would normally see on any Steem platform.
Filtering and Sorting
You can filter posts by a combination of author reputation, time of creation, number of words used, number of images used, pending payout, natural SP of author, number of votes or number of comments.
Example: If you are looking for posts which was created in the last 24 hrs, with at least 250 words and with exactly around 2-4 images.

You can even further advance your filter to tags and specific words used. It also has an option to display only specific languages(i.e. french, german, russian, etc...) Checking the Mackbot list will filter all posts that are on the Steemcleaners blacklist.

You can then sort out the filtered results into:

Middle Results Track Panel
The Middle Panel gives you and curators an idea on what to expect on the post. As seen below, it displays the current pending payout, number of images used, number of words used, number of comments received, number of upvotes received and the authors natural SP.

Preview Panel
The last panel displays a preview of the post as what would be seen on Steem platforms like Steemit and Busy.

SteemLookUp is perfect for community creators and selfless people who really are into rewarding people who are contributing to the Steem Platform by publishing exceptional contents. One main problem of most (if not all) steem platforms is how quality posts that deserve attention are being drowned along with spammy and low-quality posts under the sea of trashy contents. I hope through this tool many more content creators are given a chance to be seen and noticed by some of the selfless people in here.
On a side note: Personally I think the website could use a little more improvement. It works well and is surprisingly fast and smooth. However, aesthetically it's not too pleasing on the eyes XD
