My Entry for Steem Monsters Common Card Fantasy Story Contest! - Week 15
In the early day’s of the splintering our frontline wolfpack stood strong in all glory. We carried the way for our ferocious spineback clan in the realms of the underworld. Rebirth was our motto and so it is said we gathered in pride with our immortal self's feasting on human flesh.
Our mean eye’s lock on and hypnotize anyone who stands in our way. And our Golden tip poison spikes will leave you with a death wish. When you see one of us be prepared for many for a Spineback wolfpack leaves none behind. Since the splintering things have not been the same for our pack we are many and mighty and can never be fooled by our elemental brother’s and sister’s
It wasn’t long before nightfall and we gathered around. Our dreaming medicine showed us that we must go out and destroy those before us and leave none behind. We drifted asleep confident that our pack was strong and fearless.
As I woke a Mighty Frost Giant had appeared in our camp!
** "Stand back I screamed!"**
The Frost Giant had cast he's freezing attack. It was like a blizzard had hit my mighty wolfpack froze before my eyes
I set out on the high road by myself only knowing true well what a mighty adventure this would be.
Old folklore in wolf dreaming tells that a hero would emerge and reunite the elementals together as one and have peace on our mighty land, coming together as one for harmony. That hero is me and I must find some other tribes of many colours who can help me defeat the fearless dragons.
I remember Our elders would speak of a time when this would happen and so it is said many obstacles lay in the way of what is before us.
However, this is no match for my transitioning into the lower world and eating your soul. The only challenges I face is "water" seems irritating for me when I get wet my golden poison spines drip and it gathers a wounding sensation.
It’s not before long I look into the horizon and I see the mighty Frost Giant up to his old tricks again. I know just how well how much destruction he can do and a blizzard is no match for me. I follow my tracks back home and hope I befriend some other hero's on my vision quest and one day be reunited with my frozen wolf pack.
Summary for card
Spineback teaches that in our darkness we must find the light for the harmony of the splinterland.
