Being in the countryside offers multiple options of landscapes and sceneries allowing us great latitudes as to what it is that we are going to be sharing for this week's challenge. I decided to share three pictures that reflects this diversity.
Many years ago, I was asked by a close friend of mine to give her a ride from British Columbia to New Brunswick and thought I couldn't pass the opportunity to do so as it would allow me to entirely cross Canada on its longitude. this picture was taken in the Ottawa valley as the sun was setting and underlines a reality that most of us aren't necessarily aware of.
As you pass the British Columbia border on your way out "east", the country becomes a grid of unnatural fences, as if every parcel of land belonged to someone or something. For someone living on the outskirts of society, in the wilderness of no-fence land, such sight brings about tightness in the heart, to say the least... Here, plant people are seemingly defying the erect skyscrapers of fences tied to each other as if trying to blockade the natural processes of life.
