Journeys Chapter Two p4

With the circle completed, the redhead started rocking back and forth. “Non voco autem stellam matutinam. Ignis autem resistis. prima natus es tu autem stellam matutinam. primum filii estis non esse dicimus mortifer. primum dicitur lumen. estis domus exasperans est. lucifern es. venit ad nos lucifern. veni nobis stellam matutinam. Pervenit ad nos lucifer lux .....qui veniunt ad exasperantem. .... veniunt ad nos.”

For a moment, everyone listened to the chanting, then as she started repeating the chant, Borim's eyes widened slightly. Lucifern? This could go either way. In the Mythoreligion of the known world, Lucifern was the first born of the creative spirits, and was a bit of a trickster. Unlike other mythoreligions, Lucifern wasn't evil, just rebellious, but he was fickle and had casually killed people for just mentioning his name.

Eva was a bit faster on the uptake and she glanced at Borim and Larena. She had studied the early mythoreligion more in depth than most Shroud Knights had, and had discovered that like the All Father and Mother Goddess, Lucifern couldn't be summoned....unless he desired it. He had the power to refuse all summon spells, and had accepted only a few, and the results wee mixed. Two had been killed, and one was a mancer, the living offspring of the art. Where do we fit in? Will we live or die?

Beatrix felt cold fear as she repeated the chant. I don't want this. I'm sorry everyone, I'm so sorry. Her body went rigid as her hands reached up slowly unlaced her bodice. No, no, no.... She inwardly cried as she leaned forward and threw her arms out to a spot in front of her. Her back arched, as she leaned back, the motion causing her breasts to rise in provocation. She closed her eyes as she threw body forwrd. Against her will, she reached up and tugged her bodice open, then threw herself back, in effect offering her body to the spirit. Please, no, not that. She wanted to cry, but her lips parted and she called out. “Lucifern hoc age quod praecipio vobis. Ego offerre mea vita. Offero omnla....Ego offerre mea carmina. ......... Ego offerre tibi anima mea. Venite ad me: Venit ad me: Venit ad me.”

She arched her back and lay back on the ground, with her knees bent. “Veni ad me, dominus meus.”

.... veniunt ad nos. = We call you morning star. you are the fire bringer. you are the first born. you are the morning star. you are the first son we call you bringer of thought. we call you first light. you are the rebellious one. you are lucifern. come to us lucifern. come to us morning star. come to us.....light bringer. come to us rebellious one come to us....)

(Lucifern hoc age quod praecipio vobis. Ego offerre mea vita. Offero omnla....Ego offerre mea carmina. ......... Ego offerre tibi anima mea. Venite ad me: Venit ad me: Venit ad me. = Lucifern I bid you come. I offer you my life, I offer you by body, I offer you my charms, I offer you.........my soul. Come to me, come to me, come to me.)

(Veni ad me, dominus meus, = Come to me, my master.)
