EVEN THOUGH ORIGINAL CONTENT AND PHOTOS DONT PAY ANYMORE! I still try to stay as original as i can! For a few weeks now , every once in awhile my car wouldnt turn over on the first try! But it always started by the 2nd or 3rd attempt! Now about a month ago, i had a new battery put in, with the terminals and posts all brushed clean just this week, and tightly put on , because i thought (or was hopeing ) that is what my problem was! APARENTLY NOT! As is the story of my life! Nothing is ever that simple!
So tonight when i got in my car , after it had been sitting for 2 days, it actually started right away! No problem! It actually surprised me. BUT after I stopped for gas it was another story! My bad luck started with the guy in the gas bar, telling me I couldnt buy my lotto tickets with my credit card! So i only purchased 10.00 dollars gas got a pack of gum, and left telling him im never getting gas here again. Bad mistake!
So I put in the gas, get in the car and BOOM! car wont start! It just goes Click Click then the motor clunks! Only this time after 6 attempts it still wont turn over! OMG now im pissed ! With 10 min. To get to work I call my boss while i try to find someone for a jump!( Good thing i have cables in the trunk! ) Of course my boss is at a different site working , and he drives a car thats battery operated energy type things, for mobile patrols, and couldnt jump me even he could! 4 more people that got gas was the same kind of problem, or their battery only had a positive terminal! And of course conveniently enough the gas station attendant said he takes a bus to work! GREAT! Stranded at a gas bar in 2016 ! Has anyone tried getting a jump these days! With the newer model cars its getting imposible!
Its crazy , all these new cars now look so strange to me under the hood, i just stood there like Hummmm? Where is the battery !? It doesnt even look like a motor to me! I was seriously puzzled! My cars a 2000 pontiac grand am. And for the most part i have never had trouble! Except a new battery i needed to put in!

So after also calling my boyfriend who lives an hour away , and can only drive dureing the day, because he has no headlights working,( IT FIGURES) AND asking 5 different people in 40 min. With no success, I decided to give it one more try! And Bam! It started! Yippee! So i called my boss to let the guard on duty know im on my way , but im not sure if i can make it to work tomorrow , as we use our cars like our office, thats where we stay in between patrols, and where i blog from! Its also cold now at night so im hopeing it starts now for the night! Not to mention the street sweeper was cleaning the road , so had to park in another driveway, just my luck! and leave the car running ( in case it wouldnt start i cant leave it in someones driveway all night ) untill the guy was done! 40 min. Later, there goes half the gas i just put in! Not to mention being late for work by 30 min.!
Ive been parked now for 2 hours 30 min. Im afraid to try and start it in case its my last chance for in the morning at 630 am when i go home! My boyfriend said he will call me at 7am. And come in town tomorrow but may not be able to fix it right away, may also need to order the part ! So there goes a days pay if i cant fix it! And I for sure cannot afford a machanic! π§ππ§
Everyone seems to think its the Starter, more then the alternator. But for sure its one of those things !! And i cant afford to fix both! Not even one for that matter, so i need to be sure what it is before i spend the money i dont have on it ! This is just one more stressful thing that those of us living from pay check to pay check, and just trying to survive, have to deal with on a daily basis! No wonder we die younger then we should! Stress is aparently the number one killer!
So this is the end of my wonderful Monday Rant ! If anyone knows or theres any machanics out there , whether its more likely my Starter ? Or my Alternator! ? Please let me know ! π§ππ§
