Learning foreign languages is a very nice experience, that's for sure.

Hello Steemians, it's been a while since my last post.

I was kind of busy in other stuff, but let's start this over again!

One of the things I have been doing along these past 3 weeks of inactivity in Steemit was perfecting my English.

Since I was 12 years old, the rock n' roll has teached me a little about this language.

Listening bands such as Linkin Park and Green Day on those days was pretty cool, Although at the same time it was pretty difficult to understand what they were saying.

At the beginning, because of that, I was amazed only by the Chester Bennington's screams instead of what he was actually saying hahaha.

With the time I improved a little, I understood few things, but not enough to know what was the entire meaning of that song.

Some time later my ears somehow got used to the language day by day, slowly but surely.

I remember I was one of the best students of the "english class" because of listening rock (By the way, god bless rock n' roll). Even if I didn't care so much about the class, I never had some kinda troubles with anything.

To be honest, the english classes at Venezuela's highschools weren't so difficult, nevertheless my classmates were always asking me to teach them some things about it (I felt like the king of the world at those times hahahah).

At the end of my time in Highschool I was able to talk with somebody who speaks english, or at less try to.

I remember a funny story at the gym. One day I was doing leg's exercice, then I saw a guy using the same machine which I wanted to use.

I told him in spanish "Hermano cuánto te falta en esta máquina?". The man looked at me like "what the hell is he saying?".

Then he told me also in spanish "mi no hablar español". I really couldn't do anything but laugh, it was really a funny moment not only because he didn't speak spanish but his face as well.

He laughed too, but i'm pretty sure he didn't know why.

I saw his face and asked him where he was from, we started to speak english. I need to say that I was kind of confused, that was my first time speaking a different language than my native one, it's fair to say that it was pretty funny as well.

Even if we didn't understeand each other because our limitations at foreign languages, we spent a good time.

After all, we were from different places and different cultures. I really don't remember what he was doing at Venezuela in that time.

So, in order to perfect my english for once, I decided to join an english course.

I was doing nothing at home so I ask myself "why not give it a shot?", then I did.

First, they tested me so as to know which level I could be.

Because of all my past experience with the english and rock n' roll music (once again, god bless rock n' roll), I did well in that test, so they put me up in the last level.

I wasn't so used to speak with people who could keep a complete conversation in english, but at my first day at that course I realized that many people do the same.

The whole class was in english, the teacher introduced himself in english, people were speaking english all the time. That was my first time in that kind of environment.

I found really funny and exciting the fact of people talking in different ways, different kind of accents. We were all learning something new after all.

With the time, I improved. Now I even work in some things which are in english on internet (like steemit).

It's something incredible how many doors could open because of speaking two languages, now more than ever before.

Besides perfecting my english, I earned some friends. It's quite entertaining speak with them a lot.

English is the most language used worldwide, even if you go to China or Germany, the english could save you many times.

So I really encourage you to learn any foreign language, I also want to speak german someday or maybe chinesse.

And if you found some mistake at this letter, then I have to say that I still have things to improve.

But with the passage of time i'm going to get better, so as you actually can, isn't it?
