Pre-Alpha Is Ending
Effective October 15th, the Astral Wars Pre-Alpha is ending.
Our intention from our first announcement has always been to develop a game that is fun to play. As such, we have relied on feedback from our play testers which have collectively played over 1000 multiplayer matches to date. That information is being organized internally to help us identify overtuned/undertuned cards and mechanics in need of adjustment.
Community tournaments have been organized by @arkasz with the most recent winner being @grimmjoe. If you'd like to experience the Pre-Alpha before it ends, hop into our discord and join the latest tournament to get a jumpstart on Astral Wars!
Open Alpha Is Pending
While we'd love to transition directly into the Open Alpha, ending the Pre-Alpha will allow us to focus on the next leg of development: launching on Steam and Google Play. We're registered in the UAE as a game development LLC and are working to get the necessary approvals for us to operate and distribute our games on these platforms.
The Open Alpha will also come with improved settings, new card types and new cards. Two settings, in particular, will make many current play testers happy:

Introducing Lands
Mentioned briefly in previous posts, Land NFTs will give you access to PvE encounters that reward you with unique cards, crates and Altered Keystones (more on these in a moment) upon completion. Collecting specific sets of Lands (on a weekly rotation) will give you the opportunity to harvest additional rewards including Creation Relics—in-game non-NFT items that yield high-end rewards on a fixed cooldown.
Circling back to Altered Keystones, you can acquire Lands by consuming an Altered Keystone to generate a new Land. Which one you receive is based on the quality of the Altered Keystone:
- Basic Altered Keystone: a randomly chosen Land of common rarity.
- Dormant Altered Keystone: a randomly chosen Land of common to mythic rarity.
- Infused Altered Keystone: a manually chosen Land of common to rare rarity.

Alpha Tester Rewards
To reward our amazing playtesters, you will receive 1 Basic Altered Keystone for completing 10 multiplayer matches by the time the Pre-Alpha ends on October 15th.
Additional Altered Keystones will be awarded to players with notable achievements:
- 1 Dormant Altered Keystone per 50 multiplayer matches played
- 1 Infused Altered Keystone for Most Victories
- 1 Infused Altered Keystone for Most Matches Played
- 1 Infused Altered Keystone for Highest ELO (minimum of 50 matches played)
- 1 Infused Altered Keystone for Best Win Rate (minimum of 50 matches played)

ChiFi Bots Investor Perks
As part of our original goal when developing Astra Wars, we've begun confirming investment amounts lost by those that participated in the various fundraising efforts of ChiFi Bots, a now defunct game. Based on those amounts, players will receive the following bonuses when joining Astral Wars:
- 1 Basic Crate per $100 USD
- 1 Basic Altered Keystone per $250
- 1 Elite Crate per $500
- 1 Dormant Altered Keystone per $1000
- 1 Infused Altered Keystone per $5000
These rewards are not 1:1 in value to the original investments, but it's one of the ways we're trying to do right by the greater Hive community. Additionally, rewards for significant investments will be staggered across multiple expansions both to avoid excessive card duplication (for the player) and card value dilution (for the game).

Land Presale
Starting September 25th: You will be able to purchase Altered Keystones with $STELLARUM.
A limited number of Altered Keystones will be available:
- 100 Basic Altered Keystones
- 30 Dormant Altered Keystones
- 10 Infused Altered Keystones
A more detailed post will be released later this week detailing their $STELLARUM cost and connecting the benefits explained above to the other types of NFTs teased below.
How to Get $STELLARUM
Outside of purchasing it directly through the Hive marketplace or trading $PIMP for it through our Liquidity Pool, $STELLARUM is earned as a weekly airdrop by those that stake $ASTRA.
$STELLARUM is airdropped at a rate of 1 per 10 $ASTRA you have staked.
Continents and Planets
Looking forward, Lands are the first step in building out the core system of assets within Astral Wars: Lands, Continents and Planets. We've already touched on the first, but here's a peak at the what that system looks like:

Further details will be shared in a future post, so for now it's just important to know that you'll need specific sets of Lands to activate the Continents for each Planet. As you progress from Lands to Continents to Planets, you'll unlock new reward categories, increase the overall quality of your rewards, and gain access to unique card encounters.
