If anyone missed the memo, I was made the official Team Hugger for Team Australia a while back and it's my job to hug new members and make the Team Australia Gold in the MSP Discord room. I'm pretty passionate about hugs and most of my reasons for going to the recent MSP meet up in Florida were based on hugs. Today I'll give a play by play of who I hugged in what order and rank the best huggers that I encountered on my trip. Unfortunately not all of them were captured in picture form, so I'll describe them as best as I can.
The first hug that I got was from @meno when I had just arrived and was extremely sleep deprived and hopped up on energy drinks. It was a nice hug and I must thank @meno for not running away from my sleep deprived spaceyness. I also hugged @ankapolo shortly after and I quickly learned that she is secretly a Russian assassin and was weary afterwards. I ended up going crash at the hotel for a few hours and later that night there would be more hugs.
After catching up on some much needed sleep, I went in search of @kubbyelizabeth's house and I gave her a twirl hug in the middle of the street. She seemed pleased by this. Upon entering the house @swelker101 ran and jumped into my arms and it was a pretty magical experience. As soon as Shane's feet hit the ground I was met by the wonderful Canadian goodness of @crimsonclad who received a very nice bear hug and did not smell like maple leafs. It was that night that I realized Canadian's don't smell mapley, but just like other people, but I think there was a hint of glitter and fabulous gingery magic nonetheless.
Shortly after the hug with Crimmi I hugged @isaria and took a seat to plot my next move. I called out @choogirl at this point and made it clear that we would be hugging before I left. She seemed perplexed by this, but I assured her that it would happen. I hugged @lenadr in here somewhere and there were a few short arm hugs as the night winded down and the really good hugs started the next day. It is clear that when people get a good buzz going they are much more open to being hugged. I'm not too proud to take advantage of drunk hugs.
I met up with the group Saturday evening and @aggroed had arrived. I got a good bear hug in before also joining in on a group hug with he and Shane. It was glorious. Three large men hugging had all the ladies swooning. Outside of that bar, Kubby and I made a @choogirl sandwich hug while @negativer watched and it was great. I could tell she was into it. Later that evening an intoxicated @mitchelljaworski joined the group and I was promptly tackled and humped repeatedly. There was kind of a hug in there somewhere. It was pretty magical all the same, but the two best hugs are still yet to come.
Choo got tipsy enough to engage me for a hug and you can see that she was willing to pay for a proper hug. I'm not one to judge and I made sure that her hug elevated her entire trip. She was at least a foot off the ground for most of that hug. The next day I got a very nice going away hug from Crimmi after threatening to throw her in a pool. I also managed to run the gauntlet at this point and got a hug from @negativer and @morodiene. Feeling confident that my mission was now complete I headed home and started plotting targets for future hugs. Namaste my huggy friends.
