Same for today, it is our self drive trip, and we are going to Kamakura which is around 1 hour journey from the city. Our breakfast is the same as every morning, mom will prepare us hard boiled eggs, cereal drinks, bread and biscuits so we can enjoy our trip to the fullest after our happy meal.

The sky is blue and the cloud is white, we are glad that this is the best weather for us to explore the trip. On the way to Kamakura, there are more cars than before, and the toll charges is slightly higher, but everything is running smooth, and we even found a cheaper petrol station!

Soon, we have arrived Kamakura City, the traffic is slightly congested which is normal for a tourist spot, and the road is rather narrow, so we can only drive slowly, look at the classic streets and old buildings, it is a different view than ordinary city, and the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu is just right in front of us.

So we have arrived at our first stop, quickly we looking for cheaper car park, after comparing a few, we decided a slightly further up but reasonable price car park, sorry for the driver to walk up a little later, so we alight at the main entrance first.

At the entrance there is a huge tree, it is very nice and unique, without much thought we take out the camera and have some photos. Today is very hot sunny day, not like the cloudy cool days like before, so everyone just take out umbrellas, one by one to cover ourselves from the direct sunlight, it is so hot till we hardly bear with the overwhelming welcoming of Kamakura.

With such bright sunny days, it is the best effect for photography, although we are busy but somehow we still need to slow down for photo shooting, everyone is happy and we enjoy our time at this classical town.

Entering Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, there are many tourists especially the westerners, but photographing is not allowed inside the shrine, so not much photo can be showed inside. Somehow we still roam around the shrine and it is quite nice experience, it liked a mixture feeling of present and the past.

The stairway are steep! I feel nervous to walk on it. Furthermore, it had No handlebars...wow!
