The other day, I saw an interesting post on my Home page called "Tell your story", my friend @fakj94 resteemit-ed(?) it. I see that almost everyone is always participating in challenges and contest, but this will be my first time, since I'm only a couple of days old in Steemit.
My life before Steemit
It'd been a couple of weeks since I had a little desire of helping. Since I like technology and I spent most of my day programming or reading about it, it's normal that I find myself making mistakes, and getting stuck with a part of my program not working, so I have to Google that problem until I find a solution. I didn't want to be the person who looks for an answer to a problem, I wanted to be the person who offer solutions to problems. Now, here I am, starting my little blog about programming techniques and solutions.
How I introduced to Steemit
Basically, I wanted to share as much as possible my knowledge in certain subjects so I can help people like me who may be struggling with the same problems. I have been inspired by a lot of people in the Medium community, where I have learned a lot, and every night before sleeping I check my dashboard in Medium, and I find a new interesting and article.
Who introduced me here
At first, it all started when I was talking to my girlfriend and I was telling her I wanted to start writing tutorials and geeky stuff, I told her I wanted to do it in Medium because I liked that community and I use it a lot, but then she told me about Steemit, she said that I might get paid just for writing about what I like! Amazing! But I also should give credit to Frederick, a friend of us, who was the first to start using Steemit, and she found out about it because of him. Thank you guys @alemars, @fakj94.
My channel topic
My main topic will be computer science, web development, programming languages, programming tools, tutorials, and also and not less important, I want to talk about personal experiences that might be useful for the community.
Hobbies and interests
I love computers. A lot. And everything that is related to them. I like to learn about new technologies and how I may use them in my life. I also like videogames, I used to play a lot, but now, I play now and then when I have some free time. I really enjoy going to the movies, watch series, and listen to music. Last but not least, I like to cook! I don't always have the time to do it or the ingredients, thanks Venezuela, but I like to prepare big recipes.
Best and worst experiences
The best experience I've had here, is the opportunity to find bloggers that are from Venezuela and see how talented and good writers they are, specially if they write about something I find interesting. That makes me feel proud about my country.
Life after steemit?
Since I'm pretty new, I hope that after a time here in Steemit, I can find an audience, some followers, who really like my content and find it useful. I really enjoy the feeling of being helpful to others.
Well, this was my first time in a contest! I hope someone find this interesting. Greets from Venezuela.
