It was recently announced that #thealliance would be absorbing the charity organization called You Are HOPE. For those that are unfamiliar, we here in the fam have been supporting them for quite some time and since the vast majority of people that associate and help with @youarehope are in The Alliance, it was a natural fit. @sircork made the announcement on the last witness chat on @ramblingradio and made it official in this post.

If you read that post, some people are already in place to help out. As the president, I am going to help coordinate some things and am asking all of your help to do so. This only works if we work together. I want two specific committees formed to assist all of us. Any of you can volunteer your time and offer to help with one or both.

This is going to be created to help decide what kind of assistance we will offer to who. As we gain traction, more people will be attracted to it and we have to filter out (most importantly) the scammers from the truth. Then, we will have to weigh them in according to funds available and necessity. For example, a village needing $200 to feed the school children for a month would far out weigh the lone person needing $199.99 to fix the toilet in their office building. Some investigative skills would be a plus for this sub-group.

This is probably the most important thing any of us can do. This is the actual fundraising and gathering of donations for our causes. I would like people that volunteer for this to commit to dedicating at least one post per week to the 'Community Chest'. @shadowspub has been real good about being fairly regular with donating and #teamgood personnel often contribute but we need a steady GROUP of fam collecting for the cause(s).

This is going to become a valuable tool for us. It is going to help prove accountability and coordinate what we have dubbed supply chains. Some countries, like Venezuela, are a little more difficult to negotiate. Some governments and areas are not so 'friendly' and will need our help a little more. To assist in the safe transfer of supplies and goods, the map here is going to be a valuable resource to linking our chains and keeping things as transparent as possible for everyone. The 'baton handoff' posts will be essential to keeping our activity visible, especially in the pursuit of helping orphanages become self-sufficient.

That is the tag that will be required to help track said chains. These will be useful everywhere from Nigeria to get supplies to their schools to here in the states with maybe helping people that have been displaced by floods or fires. The avenues with which we can use these chains is limitless and at the same time, going to be an essential component to retaining our transparency as a true charitable organization.
