Today I learned, while I was scrolling through my Apple Store for a zombie game, that there is a free Walking Dead game app. This is pretty cool because I love handheld games, love the Walking Dead/Zombies, and I know my bro @sirwinchester would enjoy this as well as he is a gaming connosieur such as myself and The Walking Dead is one of his favorite shows as it is mine.
If you've never watched the show, it has a very compelling, highly suspensful -and twisting storyline. It is quite easy to be drawn in and invested into the characters.
The best thing about the game is that it correlates challenges to the most recent episodes of the Season 7 of the show so you feel updated.
This is not so much a game review, as it is moreso a quick look into how the beginning of the game is.
I downloaded it and found it is a turn based game with time upgrades and is built off of strategy and building up your own community to protect and tend to farms and scavenging for resources in dangerously infested areas. The graphics are not too bad and I read the reviews and there seems to be an overall general consensus of enjoyment but I'll be the judge of that once I delve further into the game and see what it has to offer.
Here are a few screen shots of the game play of the very beginning of the game and it's tutorial section so you know what to expect. If the game is fun, then I'll be compelled to do a proper game review with updates. If not, I'll delete it and move on to the next game more worthy.
