I hope you see my previous post about Tourism spot in Chittagong
Today I going to tell about a tourist spot in Sitakundu.
Chandronath Temple,is known as pilgrimage place for hindu.It's located in Chandronath hill at sitakundu. Hindus believed that Lode shive stay there.Though it is pilgrimage place people use to visit Sitakundu. There are many old temple.It's also known as "shakti peeth".
This temple located in the top of Chandronath Mountain.It may be 1100 feet mountain.
In "shive coturdorshi"/"Shive Ratri" people of different district come here to view their god and goddesses .And also from India. For this reason here set a mela/fair. And the fair stay for 15 days.
3 month ago,It was last day of fair.I visited to sitakundu.It was full of adventure.Here are some picture of this day.

So now how you can come to see this place from Dhaka.
By Bus:-
Dhaka-Sitakund.
From Dhaka you need to come Chittagong. If you come to Chittagong by bus you can get down in sitakundu. But in this route there are too much traffic jam.So I prefer train.
By Train(It may costly)
Dhaka- Chittagong- A.k khan- Sitakundu.
After coming Chittagong train station you should come to A.K khan bus stop. Get in a bus by asking if they may go to sitakundu. And you will reach sitakundu.
Since it is a hilly road i suggest to not go alone you can make group and go there.
Best time to visit when the "shive coturdoshi fair" held on.
