TripFM #33: The trip to the Vai Beach, Crete Island, Greece, 2010 (12 pics)

On the east coast of Crete there is one pretty interesting beach called Vai. Today we will take a ride along the coast of the island from the city of Agios Nikolaos to this beach.



Despite the cloudless weather, the Cretan Sea looked darkly sometimes.



Nevertheless, the landscapes was beautiful:

In the end, we arrived at Vai Beach:



Vai Beach is one of the main attractions of Crete, although it is situated very far from the main resorts of the island. A feature of the beach is the large palm forest:







Sandy beach and warm sea, this is all we needed in that hot day:
