TripFM #54: The gorge of Avakas, Cyprus Island, 2012 (14 pics)

In the western part of the island of Cyprus there is the picturesque Avakas Gorge.



The length of the path to the gorge is about a kilometer, the route is not difficult and suitable for a leisurely walk in nature.



Many different trees, bushes and flowers grow around the trail.

In some places the gorge is rather narrow ...



... but very beautiful.



At the exit from the gorge there is a view of the high cliffs.
