TripFM #56: Prasonisi Cape, Rhodes Island, Greece, 2012 (12 pics)

The southernmost point of the island of Rhodes is the Prasonisi cape.

The isthmus connecting the island and the cape is a unusual place, this is the beach between the two seas. In the west is the Aegean Sea, in the east is the Mediterranean sea. In winter, the seas merge, completely flooding the beach, and the cape turns into an island.

Due to constant strong winds, Prasonisi beach is a paradise for kitesurfers and windsurfers. On the day when we arrived in this truly unique place, we saw hundreds of fans of these sports. And I would like to show a few photos taken that day.
