TripFM #60: The city of Lindos, Rhodes Island, Greece, 2012 (32 pics)

The city of Lindos is one of the main attractions of Rhodes and I invariably visit it every time I come to the island.

In ancient times the city of Lindos was very powerful - its two ports and unapproachable Acropolis were the only ones on the island. Nowadays, like the Old Town of Rhodes, Lindos is one of the historical and architectural monuments and thanks to this, it managed to preserve its traditional color.

Lindos makes an unforgettable impression. Walking through narrow picturesque streets and exploring the huge city fortress and the Acropolis, you will definitely feel uniqueness of this city.

The city welcomes you with taverns and countless tourist shops.

The streets of the city can be explored for hours.

You can hire a donkey to climb the Acropolis.

But most people go up on their own.

The castle and Acropolis of Lindos.

Acropolis square offers breathtaking views of the nearby beaches and the Mediterranean sea.

Thank you for your interest in my photo stories.
