So two days ago I told you about my trip to Black Rock Viewpoint in the morning. I haven´t found that Viewing Point, but had some nice views over Nai Harn Beach anyway.
But my trip wasn´t over after that as I still wanted to see the Nui Beach which was in the same area with the same unpaved roads, but the roads became even worse.
Vor zwei Tagen erzählte ich dir von meinem Ausflug zum Black Rock Viewpoint am Morgen. Ich habe den Aussichtspunkt nicht gefunden, hatte aber trotzdem eine schöne Aussicht über Nai Harn Beach.
Aber meine Reise war danach nicht zu Ende, da ich immer noch den Nui Beach sehen wollte, der in derselben Gegend mit den gleichen unbefestigten Straßen lag, aber die Straßen wurden noch schlimmer.

And it did not get much better the the further down I drove

I was constantly pulling both brakes and was only rolling down that very steep hill, trying to not break anything at the scooter as it is quite a new one.
At some section I thought that it would be better to turn around, but I definitely wanted to make it down to that beach.
The road conditions were changing every few meter and some sections were quite ok as they were paved. And finally I could something like a gate and a few huts.
Ich zog ständig an beiden Bremsen und rollte nur den sehr steilen Berg hinunter und versuchte, nichts am Roller zu beschädigen, da es ein relativer neuer ist.
Irgendwann dachte ich dass es besser wäre umzudrehen, aber ich wollte unbedingt zu diesem Strand.
Die Straßenverhältnisse änderten sich alle paar Meter und einige Abschnitte waren recht gut, da sie gepflastert waren. Und schließlich konnte ich etwas wie ein Tor und ein paar Hütten sehen.
I was finally there and very glad that I made it without destroying the scooter. This is really a hidden spot and I first thought that I might be the only one there...but I wasn´t.
It looked like that they are still building something like a beach club down there. I don´t like it when places like this one get ruined by mass tourism but this is how it works on Islands like Phuket. Despite everything, I have to admit that it looks nice and not too big.
The beach down there is actually pretty nice but it seemed that there is a lot of rubbish washed up during rainy season as the beach was quite dirty.
Ich war endlich da und sehr froh, dass ich es geschafft habe, ohne den Roller zu zerstören. Das ist wirklich ein versteckter Ort und ich dachte zuerst, dass ich der einzige sein könnte ... aber ich war es nicht.
Es sah so aus, als bauten sie dort unten immer noch so etwas wie einen Strandclub. Ich mag es nicht, wenn solche Orte vom Massentourismus ruiniert werden, aber so funktioniert es auf Inseln wie Phuket. Trotz allem muss ich zugeben das es schön aussieht und auch nicht zu übertrieben groß ist.
Der Strand dort unten ist eigentlich ziemlich nett, aber es schien so als ob viel Müll während der Regenzeit angespült wurde, da der Strand ziemlich dreckig war.

There is a pool, a small restaurant and some big swings down there. They even brought a Tuk-Tuk to the beach for decoration. All in all it looked quite funny and if it does not get attracted too much by tourism I could definitely spend a day at that beach. Anyway, I´m pretty sure that as soon as this Beach Club is finished and the peak season starts it gonna cost an entry of about 200 Thai Baht.
Es gibt einen Pool, ein kleines Restaurant und einige große Schaukeln dort unten. Sie brachten sogar ein Tuk-Tuk zur Dekoration an den Strand. Alles in allem sah es ziemlich spaßig aus und wenn es nicht zu sehr vom Tourismus angezogen wird, könnte ich definitiv einen Tag an diesem Strand verbringen. Wie auch immer, ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass, sobald dieser Beach Club fertig ist und die Hauptsaison beginnt, es einen Eintritt von etwa 200 Thai Baht kostet.
I had enough, I was hungry, thirsty and since I knew I had to go all the way back up I did not spent anymore time down there. It was worth the effort but next time I´m going to take a Taxi! 😁
Ich hatte genug, ich war hungrig, durstig und da ich wusste, dass ich den ganzen Weg wieder zurück musste, verbrachte ich keine Zeit mehr dort unten. Es war die Mühe wert, aber nächstes Mal werde ich ein Taxi nehmen! 😁
