Footprints on the sand, were those steps even mine?
All the following photos were taken at Patar Beach (Bolinao, Pangasinan)
The beach has multiple parts, for these set of photos we were half a kilometer before reaching the light house. Sadly, we don’t have any photos of the lighthouse and the beach near it (sand is more fine/white there and there are no seaweeds, etc; there are also rock formations. I’m going to check if I’ll be able to get photos of that next time), because we went there at about 5:30 pm and it’s already too dark to take photos of the beach, also the lighthouse needs a bit of a trek and we left all of our gadgets in the cars, for safety.

We stayed in one of the resorts there in a Kubo style house (made up of bamboo and nipa). Nipa huts are indigenous to our country (Wiki). It's very spacious and refreshing. The bedframes are made of bamboo as well but they have foams/mattresses on them.

Here's a photo of the resort in panoramic view from the beach, it's not grand, but it's alright, I enjoyed my stay there. I liked staying on those terraces and even under them (there's a bit of space beside the column supporting it, 3-4 people can sit there). I can even climb up to the roof on the far-left side of that photo (as you can see there's a staircase there - unfinished - most likely they're still planning to add more floors to the resort).

Writing people’s name on the sand is a bit of a hobby. That’s my nickname there.

Here are more photos of the beach and the waters:

Of course, a Filipino outing/celebration is not complete without singing in a videoke, they rented one for this occasion.

Keep your feet on the ground, submerged in the sea. Let the waves wash everything and just let it be.
