I have never heard so many children screaming at the top of their lungs in all my life as when we visited the Adventure Aquarium in beautiful Camden, NJ. Our school organized the trip and as we were crossing the bridge from Philadelphia, I was surprised to see a vibrant business district on the waterfront.
Whenever I've heard of Camden, the image was of a decaying city on the downturn. However we were in a nice part of town where everyone felt very safe and well-cared for. The staff is amazing and you could spend an entire day here without seeing everything. So I'm going to share some pics I took while we were there so hopefully you can give your family a wonderful day out.
I saw a dad take his young daughter inside and that thing is powerful! You have to try it out, it sure looked like fun!
I have many more pictures and videos that I may upload to DTube (If I ever create an account there) But just wanted to give you a taste of this very fun place for kids. Take a break for lunch and try some of the tasty edibles at the food court. Adventure Aquarium is even offering furloughed federal employees (and a child) free admission from January 19-25 with a government ID.
We had a wonderful time there and I hope you do too. Spend a day at Camden's Adventure Aquarium, you won't regret it! :)
