Victoria Park: a place to hang out in London E2

I sure did enjoy living in this neighbourhood for 7 years. So long as the trees in the parameter infront of our building did not have a thick foliage, the fountain in this pond can be seen from our main door. Basically, i called this park our front garden, as our back garden outside my window have a mini-park with a playground. Being woken-up with kids' voices playing was a normal occurences but I didn't mind.

These birds art works are made of hay, we were there that day when they put those in the pond. We also met the lady artist though I have forgotten her name, and even the date. My friend with me then had passed away.

Had my training here when running the 10k marathon at work. Am not a runner so i badly needed the geese and some elderly men watching to urge me on, it was kinda hard at first, and having chest pains the first few weeks. Nah am joking, they were like colic pains that got relieved when i rested.

Breakfast at the Pavilion

View from the outside of the Pavilion

Before it have some dining tables inside, but now everything are outside. The thing i like here is the ambience, and of course THE FOOD.

Whereas before there are dining tables inside, now all are outside. There is also a small bar-top table along the metal rail of the pond, directly facing the fountain.

The food being served here are all organic so it's a bit pricey but not so much. About a tenner for a complete English breakfast without drinks. My colleagues at work used to go here after night shifts on their way home as they follow the Regent's canal.

Although I have moved, I don't live that far and can still access all these that VICKY PARK can offer. She haven't seen the last of me.

Whenever you're in the neighbourhood, check out this place. And if looking for a place to have coffee, breakfast, read a book, do yoga, or just to hang out or walk your dog, this place is well recommended. This i guarantee.
