Hello Friends!
In this post I gather some pictures that depict some lands of this region which is the most emblematic and have an unusual characteristic of northeastern Brazil that is the hinterland. A landscape that today is already turning to desert-like character and is characterized by a dry climate with very hot sun, a climate bordering on 40 degrees during the day. This region is the Pernambuco hinterland, one of the regions that make up the state of Pernambuco state.

Interestingly, this climatic aspect today is due to the great climate disordering we are suffering not only in Brazil but in the world and is making this desert climate not only be limited to the hinterland, but also in the coastal region, where I live. Here on the coast, you can find aspects that are similar to what I found for example in the city of Pesqueira, a city that is located at the beginning of the Pernambuco hinterland region.

This photo I took at the beginning of the "Serra do Ororubá" (Ororubá Mountain), the main mountain range that surrounds the city of Pesqueira, where live the tribes of Indians who gave the name and populate this city for three centuries is the Tribe Xucurú. The Serra do Ororubá is the main elevation surrounding the city of Pesqueira and has an altitude of 1.200 meters of altitude. The city's climate is dry during the day and cold at night, with temperatures that can reach a maximum of 10 degrees, which for us who live in northeastern Brazil is very cold.

The hinterland of the environment in its most distant regions and smaller towns is much suffering to the families who live there, because the lack of water is very large. It is normal to see during the time of desert the death of animals in some places because they didn't find food and water to survive. It is a region of great struggle, where survival is every day.

I hope you enjoyed that trip to the desert region of Brazil. Very happy to have your company.😊
Thank You Very Much!
Muito Obrigado!
