Today I have decided to participate to a challenge I enjoy very much ...

this is the #SAM-Saturday challenge and if you don't know it, you can have to look at @bluemoon 's post that explains it

In a nutshell, this is challenging you to tell a little something about yourself,
so here is my today's Something About Me

My best wood friend is a little guy named Pinocchio...I am half italian by my name, but Pinocchio, he is a real italian,
born in the workshop of Gepetto in Collodi, according to @silviabeneforti,
and raised in Bellaggio, on the beautiful sides of the Como lake, where we first encounter him...

It was in 2016, two years ago, and Pinocchio was waiting to be adopted with his hundreds of brothers in the frontage of a shop in the lovely streets of Bellaggio.

We were walking with my human artist @barbara-orenya and her SweetDarling in the picturesque streets of Bellaggio,

which echoeed those Mediterranean sounds that we want to enjoy with closed eyes and let ourselves be lulled by the music of melodious phrases and enchanted words.

This was an April sunny sweet weather with a warm breeze tickling my goatee ...

and then we walked past this storefront with all those red-bodied puppets in all sizes and Barbara said:

Luigi, How about adopting a friend ? ^ _ ^

I was thrilled about the idea indeed !

So we entered the place and then we stayed a couple of hours choosing the right Pinocchio

Yeah...I know, there are all the same

but not for my human, believe me ;-) !

And then Pinocchio, well I mean OUR Pinocchio, did his first boat travel with us as we left the beautiful Bellagio....

Do you wonder if people thought my human @barbara-orenya and her SweetDarling were a bit weird, cruising with a garden gnome and a wooden puppet...? =))

...Well, not as much as the carabinieri that had a look in her bag when we decided to visit the Duomo in Milano the next day... ;-)

alors voici mon Something About Me ...

Mon meilleur ami en bois est un petit gars nommé Pinocchio ... Je suis à moitié italien par mon nom, mais lui, c'est un vrai Italien Pinocchio...!
né dans l'atelier de Gepetto à Collodi, selon notre chère @silviabeneforti et élevé à Bellaggio, sur les magnifiques bords du lac de Côme, où nous l'avons rencontré pour la première fois. ..

C'était en 2016, il y a deux ans,

Pinocchio attendait d'être adopté en compagnie de ses centaines de frères dans la devanture d'un magasin dans les belles rues de Bellaggio.

nous marchions dans les rues pittoresques de Bellaggio

qui résonnaient de ces accents méditéranéens qu'on a envie d'écouter en fermant les yeux et en se laissant bercer par la musique des phrases mélodieuses et des mots enchantés ....

le temps était celui d'avril, un temps ensoleillé de douceur avec une petite brise tiède chatouillant ma barbiche

et puis nous sommes passés devant cette devanture avec tous ces bonhommes de bois rouges de toutes les tailles, et Barbara a dit :

Luigi, que dirais-tu d'adopter un ami ? ^_

Bien sûr j'étais super enthousiaste à cette idée !

Nous sommes donc entrés dans la place et nous sommes bien restés quelques heures à choisir le bon Pinocchio.
Ouais ... je sais, ce sont tous les mêmes...
mais pas pour mon humain, croyez-moi ;-)

Et puis ensuite Pinocchio, je veux dire NOTRE Pinocchio, a fait son premier voyage en bateau avec nous alors que nous quittions la belle Bellagio ....

Vous vous demandez si les gens trouvaient que mon humain @barbara-orenya et SonChéri étaient un peu étranges, à naviguer en compagnie d'un nain de jardin et une marionette en bois ...? =))

... Eh bien, pas autant que les carabiniers qui ont jeté un coup d'œil dans son sac quand nous avons décidé de visiter le dome de Milan le lendemain ...; -)
