My day started around 6:20am when I got up, got ready, packed a few things, had a smoothie and a small cup of coffee and went to Croatia with my parents. It takes us about 1 hour and 15-20 minutes from our house in Serbia to our house in Croatia.
For those of you who might not know, my parents are from Bosnia, moved to Croatia when they were young, my brothers and I were born in Croatia and we used to live there. In August this year marks 20 years since we moved to Serbia.
It's been a little bit over two years since I was at home in Croatia but for some reasons, when I came today, it felt like I haven't been there in ages. A lot of things happens during these two years, good and not so good, I've changed a lot and maybe that's the reason why I got a feeling like I haven't been way over two years.
I will write more about this tomorrow but in this video you can see some clips from my morning, my walk, coffee we had outside since the house was so cold and outside was sunny and warm. We also had a lot of work to do outside since my dad cut off and trimmed most of the trees in our yard and garden, they were all so old and dried so we had to clean up all the branches and that took us a while. There was also few more things here and there that we got done before we came back to Serbia. We tried to do as much as we could and leave before it gets dark.
As I was talking to my mom today while ahving coffee, we agreed that we will come during the spring for a week to give a house nice, detailed clean and also clean the yard and garden. It was also nice to take a break from the Internet since we don't have it there and the TV is not plugged in so I really got to enjoy the present moment without distractions and there was a few moments of complete silence when there was just me and my thoughts.
