The sun has set in Barrow Alaska, and it won't rise again until late January next year!

Known as the Polar night

Barrow Alaska has about two months with out the light of the sun.

It is the most northern city in the United States, nearly 250 miles north of the Arctic circle.

Most of day is in complete darkness, with a beautiful view of the stars and northern lights.

For a few hours of the day a faint light shines, known as "the twilight."

In the beauty of the holiday season, the light of the moon reflects on the glistening snow, giving it an enchanting winters glow in Barrow Alaska.

Sunrise, until next year!
