Today I want to tell you about an interesting monument to warriors-motorists and road builders of Kiev. Let me invite you to an exciting excursion.
The monument is a real ZIS-5 car from the front of the Great Patriotic War. This monument is located on Moscow Square in Kiev, at the address: Goloseevsky Avenue, 44. This monument was erected in 1985. The numbers on the car are symbolic "VO 14-18". VO - means "Great Patriotic, and the numbers 14-18 mean 1418 days the war lasted.
This military vehicle was found in 1970 in one of the factories. It turns out that after the war this machine still worked. The weight of the car is three tons. On the pedestal the car stopped by himself. It is said that if now this car is refueled with gasoline, then it will go. That's such a wonder-monument stands in Kiev.
