Where to go, what to see and where to relax in the city of Kiev. A trip to ancient Greek mythology. I invite you to the Alley of the Muses.

Hello my dear friends. Let me invite you today for an interesting walk and plunge into the ancient Greek mythology. This is the Muse's Alley. On this avenue there are 9 muses. They stand on three pedestals.

Who are the Muses? These are the daughters of the Great Zeus and the goddess Mnemosina. Mnemosyna was the goddess of memory. Here we can see the muse of poetry, art and science. All these muses have names.

Muses of poetry: Polyhymnia, Euterpe, Erato.
Muses of art: Melpomene, Thalia, Terpsichore.
The Muses of Science: Calliope, Urania, Clio.
Polyhymnia is the muse of pantomime and hymns; Euterpe is a muse of lyrical poetry and music; Erato is the muse of love poetry; Melpomene - the muse of tragedy; Thalia - the muse of comedy; Terpsichore is the muse of dance; Calliope is the muse of epic poetry; Urania - the muse of astronomy; Clio is the muse of history.

I hope you enjoyed our walk. Welcome to Kiev. Follow me. Our travels continue. Thank you for attention.
