Hello my dear friends! Today I want to tell you about the amazing place in the city of Kiev. Let me invite you to an interesting excursion to this paradise. This is the park "Kristerova Gorka". The history of this park begins in 1850. This park is located at the address: Osipovskogo street, 1. The park is open 24 hours a day. So, let's begin. As I said, the history of this park begins in 1850. That year, the Saxon Wilhelm Christer bought 40 hectares of land from Prince Esterhazy. Christer was fond of farming and growing various trees. Christer always experimented and brought out new varieties.
No gardens in the world could compare with the gardens of Christer. It was a unique household. And then Soviet power came and took this land from Christer. The farmstead and the farm have fallen into decay. The greenhouses were destroyed, nobody was engaged in economy. Until 2007, it was dirty ruins. Residents of Kiev were even afraid to walk in this place. In 2007, this place was cleared and a large housing complex "Park City" was built on this site.
Today the park "Kstererova Gorka" is a real paradise. The park is considered a monument of nature. Here grow trees that are more than a hundred years old. Especially valuable trees in the park are the oak tree, which is 400 years old and chestnuts, which are 150 years old. Also there are exotic trees, beautiful bushes, alder. In the park live animals that are listed in the Red Book. In the park we can see swans and mallard. There are 4 lakes in the park.
I hope you liked my story. Tomorrow I will write a continuation of the story about this amazing place and interesting facts. Do not miss. Follow me. Our travels continue. Thank you for attention.
