Four places in Okinawa-Jima - My favourites!

Hello Steemians,

I would like to share with you today my experiences from my holidays on the island Okinawa-jima in the Pacific Ocean. Unfortunately we were only on Okinawa-jima for one week, this could have been more. The island is beautiful and clearly has South Sea flair, plus the cleanliness and discipline of the Japanese, which is truly unique in the world. And made this destination a jewel on our trip to Japan.

My favorite places from the Okinawa trip

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium

This really unique aquarium will probably be remembered forever, besides fascinating marine animals like the big water fleas, the tank with the two whale sharks is clearly the main attraction, the oldest is already 12 years old and was already bred as a baby in the aquarium.

Naha Shurijo Castle

There are a lot of castles in Japan but this is a little different from the others the whole construction and the ruins themselves. In addition there is a garden with many big spiders which are very nice to look at. These are not dangerous/aggressive so no fear.

Seven Village Motobu

Here we lived during our stay, the landlord is really very friendly and courteous. The small houses are well laid out and the landlord decorates the whole thing really well as you can see here, we had a really great time here. The shower is really big by Japanese standards, which makes washing after swimming in the sea very pleasant.

Sesoko Beach

We have been to this beach 3 times, the Japanese are very careful people and therefore only go swimming around the fenced area on the beach and then only with life jackets or swimsuits. This makes the rest of the beach, here in the high season, almost deserted, which only made the stay there even more beautiful.
